Hello my fabulous friends!

 I don't know about you, but sometime I need to be reminded to be gentle with myself, and to love myself... This GORGEOUS peacock from Tracey Hey is the perfect reminder!

Paper: Strathmore Bristol Smooth; Georgia Pacific black cardstock

Stamps: Tracey Hey Beautiful Mess

Ink: Inkon3 Fadeout*, Blackout*; Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleedproof White

Coloring: Zig Clean Color Real Brush; Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors

Peacock- 400, 036, 080, 097, 902, 069, 230

Gold accents- Metallic-Bluish Gold

This beautiful bird was SO fun to paint!  All those feathers took a while, but once I got in the rhythm, it was really relaxing!  

To add just a bit of sparkle, I added a little metallic gold watercolor over the purple hearts. It is subtle, but I love how it turned out. I need to remember to pull out my metallic watercolors more often!
