birthday bear... and an update...
Hello my fabulous friends!
I'm sorry that I have gone MIA lately...
Last week was a rough week.
As you may know, my mom has been fighting cancer for quite a while now. She desperately needed a surgery to remove a tumor that was partially blocking her bowels, but the hospital canceled it due to Covid19...
Over the past weeks that we have been under stay-home orders, her health has gotten worse, and last week she was put on hospice.
During the course of last week, I also learned of two friends going through medical crisis...
Those things alone are enough to break my heart.. but to all happen at a time when family isn't allowed to be near... and hugs are deemed too dangerous...
With everything going on, my own mental health has taken a huge hit.
As much as I want to bring inspiration, joy, and sunshine to all of you, I've been too emotionally drained to color, create, or write.
Hopefully the storm passes quickly, and I'll be able to bring you regular content again.. Until then, please have patience with me if my posts are a bit more sporadic...
On a brighter note... Today's my birthday, so I thought it only fitting to share a birthday card!

I absolutely adore this stamp! This image captured my heart the moment I saw it! I knew when I bought it that I wanted to use it for no line watercoloring... and the end result didn't disappoint!
I kept the card very simple with all the focus on the image...
I hope all of you are safe, healthy, and happy... or at least hanging in there. Please know that you are loved! We'll get through this.

Darling Kassi, I so meant to send you a message yesterday! I had it written down to be sure I remembered! But life got in the way.
