Hello my fabulous friends,
and welcome to anyone who is new!
If you have been wishing for big, beautiful flowers to color or paint, you are going to love today's release!
Note: Products were provided by the company, however my opinions remain my own. Affiliate links have been used. This doesn't affect the price you pay, but it does a lot to help me continue bringing you new content. Thank you so much for your support!
The Big & Bold line from Colorado Craft Company is adding 3 new fabulous flowers to their line up, and they are stunning!
To celebrate this new release, Colorado Craft Company has some amazing give aways... more on that below-
But first, let's take a look at these fun new stamps!
There is a coordinating die available if you want to cut out your flower.
Irises bring back memories of both my mother's garden and my grandmother's... and they come in so many pretty colors! Iris Wishing is both beautiful and fun to paint... it's also sized to work with slimline cards!
The coordinating die gives you even more options for creating with this beauty!
Quick tip: Google 'Iris Flower images'... SO many beautiful color combinations and ideas!!! This is a great first step for any flower you want to paint/color.
I have loved Bird of Paradise flowers since the first time I visited California on a school trip and saw them from the bus window... they are so whimsical and fun!
And I'll admit, the beautiful color combinations and blends from one color to another that I love so much on the real flower, felt a bit challenging when I first sat down to paint this beautiful Bird of Paradise Wishing stamp.
But honestly, that's not a bad thing.
Quick tip: Don't be afraid to challenge yourself on occasion! If you always stay in the comfortable waters of what is easy, you will never advance beyond that.
This is one of the main reasons I fell in love with the Colorado Craft Company Big & Bold line of stamps originally... they challenge me! Especially when I started focusing on no-line coloring flowers.
Taking on that challenge, and trying again, and again helped me improve and gain both skill and confidence! And the large size is actually easier to practice on.
Take a deep breath, break down into simple steps, and enjoy the learning process!
You can do it!
I'll talk more about my process and how I approached this challenge later this week.
And yes, before I get too distracted, there is a coordinating die set for this stamp as well!
If you're having a hard time choosing a favorite, don't worry, I did too! If you want to get the whole release (and save 10%), click HERE
