Share the Love Pre-sale with CCC

        Hello my fabulous friends,

and welcome to anyone who is new!

This new year is bringing not only new stamps and dies, but new release schedules!

Note: Products were provided by the company, however my opinions remain my own. Affiliate links have been used. This doesn't affect the price you pay, but it does a lot to help me continue bringing you new content. Thank you so much for your support!

Today's incredible release from  Colorado Craft Company is a little different than the format you are used to... This is a  4 day PRE-SALE (and some giveaways!).

What does that mean? Well, here's the scoop:

-The pre-sale is 4 days long, during which you will receive FREE US shipping ($12 international)

-After the 4 days the items will be removed from the website for a few weeks while we wait for stock to come in.

-When the stock is in, the products will be available on the website again, but no free shipping. (so don't wait!)

-Pre-sale orders will ship in 1-2 weeks (REMEMBER, this is a PRE-SALE).

-Giveaway info a little later in this post

Now for the inspiration ...

This release is pretty big, and I only have 2 of the Big and Bold stamp sets to share with you today... there's also a bunch of ADORABLE Anita Jeram sets, a Lovely Legs set, and a Savvy Sentiments set, so be sure to check out the Colorado Craft Company website to see the full release.

(I know I usually show the whole release here on release day, but things didn't quite work out that way this time... I hope to be sharing more samples soon!)

This beautiful rose is called Smell the Roses. I love the large size (this is a typical A2 card, and the leaves are overhanging the edges)! There are also 10 sentiments in this set!

You can find the coordinating die set HERE

TIP: Large stamps like this with lots of open space are great for playing with color! Using multiple colors and mixing them on the paper wet in wet can give you a lot of visual interest without having to worry too much about the tight details. You can also get great color interest in these open areas by using plenty of water and colors that separate (like the peach color I used separates into pink and yellow when you use enough water).  Even glazes (thin layers of different colors applied after the previous layer is completely dry) can give you stunning results!

This next one is Rose Background, and it is as the name suggests- a 6x6 background stamp with large roses that are fun to color!

TIP: Sometimes it's easier to color block, and then add in the details.. For these roses, I didn't paint each individual petal, instead I painted each entire rose purple, then when that had dried, I went back in to add the darker purple shadows to create the petal shapes.  I kept my flowers loose, which allowed me to color the whole background reasonably quickly even though there is a lot to color.

And for your ease of shopping if you want it all, there are several bundle options:

Don't forget, this Pre-sale with free US shipping ($12 international) only lasts for 4 days over on the Colorado Craft Company website!
