Hello my fabulous friends,
and welcome to anyone who is new!
I know it's been a while... but I am so excited to share that Colorado Craft Company is back!!
This come back release is packed full of Halloween goodness a PROMO and a GIVEAWAY!
(read to the end for details)
Grab your favorite drink or snack, and let's take a look at this spooktacular release!
Note: Products were provided by the company, however my opinions remain my own. Affiliate links have been used. This doesn't affect the price you pay, but it does a lot to help me continue bringing you new content. Thank you so much for your support!
This set features this adorable witch sitting on a mushroom as the main image, with 7 additional elements like a moon, ghost, and spiders that you can add in. It also has 4 sentiments. (I'm cheating just a little- the pumpkin is from Carve On)
TIP: Mix and match your stamp sets! Many of the stamps in this release are all in the same style and can work well together to create unique cards!
This set features 2 smaller witch stamps, a spiderweb, a spider (of course), and bats, plus 4 sentiments.
TIP: The fairly simple line art leaves plenty of space for customizing the outfits with stripes, dots, or whatever you want!
This set has this fabulous large tree, a moon, stars, bats, ghosts, and 2 different houses so you can create a village scene. There are also 2 sentiments
(the sentiment I used is from another set- Halloween Sayings)
TIP: Creating a scene doesn't have to be complicated.. Here I painted a card front with a little green on the bottom, then blue for the sky, and I left a part of the sky unpainted for the moon. I then stamped the images over the painted background and colored them. The tree is dark enough to paint right over the background, and I added a bit of white on the ghost to set him apart from the background. Quick and easy!

This set has 2 smaller witches, stars, a fishing pole, a broom, a ghost, and a spider. There are also 3 sentiments.
TIP: A little splatter can bring a hint of color into the white space without overtaking it.
This set is JUST sentiments... including a longer verse that could work on the front or inside your card! There are 7 sentiments in all with a variety of fonts and icons.
(the witch here is from Witch's Potion)
TIP: Color shifting watercolors for the win... I stamped the sentiment in black, then painted over it in a color shifting paint.. so it's constantly shifting colors as the light hits it at different angles. It's a bit time consuming to paint over all the letters, but it looks AMAZING!
Up next we have 3 new MINI sets.. These little sets work great as add ons to the other sets, or to make little projects like these super quick tags to tie on treat bags!

The ghosts are one stamp, then there are 2 different heart options, and the sentiment.
TIP: Using complimentary colors can really make things pop- Orange and purple are compliments, and since most of the tag is orange, those little purple hearts REALLY stand out!
This set has 2 different jack-o-lanterns and the sentiment
TIP: You can mix Distress Inks and watercolors! I masked off my jack-o-lantern, then ink blended a background using Distress Ink. I splattered water on it, and dabbed the water up with a paper towel. After that, I painted in the image and the shadow using regular watercolors. This gives me the ease of an ink blended background plus the granulation I love from my watercolors in the actual image!
This is just one stamp, but look how it fills the tag!
TIP: I wanted a black spider but white words and an ink blended background, so... Using my MISTI, I inked up just the spider in black and stamped it. Without moving anything, I cleaned off the black ink and inked the whole stamp in embossing ink, I then embossed with clear powder. This let me do super quick ink blending over the tag without losing the words or the spider.
This is a single stamp that fills your background with a Hallowing verse for the ultimate quick card!
TIP: This stamp doesn't quite fit an A2 card... the words get cut off just a bit on the top and bottom, but there is extra space on the sides. I felt like the extra space on the sides was a bit awkward, but I wanted to keep this a single layer... so I used some low tack tape and stuck it on the card at the edge of the words. This gave me a straight line that I colored in with a black sharpie... The ink seeped under the edges of the tape just slightly giving it a bit of a torn/ragged edge that looks really neat!
This set does not coordinate with the other witches of this release... it is an addition to the Lovely Legs collection. You can see the main image fills the A2 card nicely! There are also some smaller elements like stars, moon, and bubbles, and 4 sentiments.
TIP: Sometimes you paint something and you just don't love it... this happened twice while painting this image (I really needed sleep!) The first was the cauldron. When it was a solid color, I really didn't like it, so while the paint was wet, I dabbed off some of the paint using a tissue- this left uneven color that was far more interesting than a solid cauldron! The second time was with the legs.. This time I let it dry and used a white paint pen to add in doodles. Don't throw away a painting just because you don't like part of it. Play with it and see if you can fix it!
This is part of the Big and Bold collection, so it is a good sized skull! there is also a smaller skull, some extra maggots, and 6 sentiments.
TIP: Look at the back of the package for a picture of the skull colored.. this gives you a nice cheat Sheed to know where to put shadows!
And that's the full release!
Please note: due to the manufacturing issues, there are no dies for this release. They are working on that, so hopefully dies will be back in the future.
