wildflowers...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I hope you all had a safe, and happy Easter...

I've been enjoying some sunshine lately, which means long walks outside... It's one of the few things that feels normal and makes sense right now. I love seeing the flowers that are starting to bloom in my yard.. it makes my heart happy!

Paper: Arches Hot Press
Stamps: Altenew Wild Flora, Honey Bee Stamps Everything Wonderful
Ink: Inkon3 Fadout ink*, Blackout ink*
Coloring: Mission Gold Watercolors; Copics
Background: V12, BV13
Dies: Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle
Stencil: LDRS Creative Plaid
Other:  rhinestones

I had so much fun playing with the Mission Gold watercolors... I didn't pay attention to what colors I was using... I just went by feel (and a messy palette LOL), and I absolutely love how it turned out!

To create the background paper, I chose a couple Copic markers that matched my flowers, and used my Copic Airbrush and a stencil to create custom paper.  I then die cut the watercolored panel using a stitched rectangle die and layered it on top.

I finished it off with this fabulous sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps... I love the mix of fonts!
And a few rhinestones for just a little sparkle and balance.

I hope you are all finding little things to make you smile...

See you soon!
