a moose for Christmas...

Hello my AMAZING friends!

It's time for another Unity hop!
(and sale!)

So, about this time each year, I start working on Christmas cards... Like SERIOUSLY working on cards...

I have 60 or so to make for the kids in my church... along with their gifts, and the birthday cards and gifts for next year... all by the end of December... So, I'm kind of a busy gal!

I like to keep things fairly simply while still looking amazing... Sometimes I do better at the 'simple' part than other times. LOL!

This year I kept it simple by keeping coloring to a minimum.

This new moose stamp was PERFECT.  Isn't he just ADORABLE?
Yeah, I thought so.

A little tone on tone embossing with clear embossing powder on kraft paper... I LOVE the results of that! I used some Gelatos to add a couple pops of color (no skill required) and finished it off with some Glossy Accents.

Here's a quick little how to....

The insides of the cards are simple as well.... A stamped sentiment on some white card stock... this also allows for a handwritten message without having to worry about trying to write on a dark surface.

These babies are covering several tables in my studio right now as the details dry.

Now on to the next project....

the GIFTS.

I need to learn how to cut metal... YIKES!
{Wish me luck.}

Don't forget---
Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Friday night on the Unity blog.

Enjoy!
