sunny santa tag...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I grew up in an area that usually had a white Christmas... And I LOVED it! Now.. I usually get a wet Christmas... and it's much less impressive... I've yet to try the sunny Christmas idea, but it's tempting!

Made even more tempting by the ADORABLE new Deck the Palms stamp set from La-Land Crafts newest release!

I think Santa is loving it, don't you???

I wanted to create a cute tag with the Santa and the palm tree... But then it was WAY too cute to stuff in a pocket and not be seen! So I die cut the pocket out of acetate to create a clear pocket! Perfect for including a gift card with the tag, without hiding the beach scene!

To create my scene, I stamped Santa, then stamped the Santa again on some Eclipse tape. I cut the tape Santa out to create a mask. Once the mask was covering my project Santa, I could stamp the palm tree. When the mask is removed, Santa is standing in font of the palm tree! Super easy!

I adore this bow from the Jingle Bells Wreath set... it makes a beautiful little accent for all kinds of projects all year round!

As much as I love my cute sweaters, a little sunshine and warmth sounds good right about now! Guess I'll just have to curl up by my fireplace with a book... or markers!

See you soon!
