I love this sweet image, and with everything that my mom has been dealing with the last couple years, it felt very appropriate.

I've been really enjoying stamping with dark brown ink instead of black ink recently... I like the slightly softer/ warm look of he browns... Yet, because they are so dark, if you aren't actually thinking about it, it looks black...

As much as I love coloring new images, I also think it's fun to color images I've colored before just to see how my coloring/style has grown and changed.... I remember the first time I colored this image I was fairly new to Copics, and I was so intimidated by it... Not anymore!

I love it when I find stamps and dies that work perfectly together (even if they aren't from the same company)

I dyed the ribbon using a combinations of Ocean Breeze Blue and South Shore Sand Magicals... I love how beautifully the ribbon takes this pigment! So pretty!

To create the flower in the bow, I used a mold (don't know what brand mold, but it's actually for fondant) and Mod Podge Melts. I then colored it with my Copics and added the rhinestone in the center to make it match my other flowers.

See you soon!
