To create this scene I used several different stamps.. The boy and girl actually come from different stamps, but they still work perfectly together (I love that!). I decided to do fussy cutting instead of masking to add some dimension, and also to give me a bit more creative license... Going into this card I wasn't really sure how I wanted my end design to look, so having the boy, girl, and mailbox as separate pieces, I was able to play around with placement before committing to anything.

The wall and hedge are both background stamps that are designed to coordinate with the various Dreamerland Crafts character stamps... I love having that option, and knowing it is the perfect size to easily build a scene! They are also designed to be stamped end-on-end (meaning: you stamp a section of wall, then slide the stamp over and stamp again to create a continuous wall as long as you need it to be). I love that I am not limited in length, nor do I need to resort to creative masking to create a continuous wall or hedge!

To finish the card off, I die-cut the stamped panel using a stitched rectangle die, then layered that on a glitter cardstock panel, and onto a card base! The scene has enough detail, I didn't want to add too much extra to it.. so the simple stitched border was perfect!

I'm so glad I ran across this company at Creativeation! I've been loving these stamps!

Speaking of which, I'm looking to expand my stamp library even more... Do you know of a fantastic stamp company (maybe a smaller, or less known one) with incredible stamps that I should check out??? Let me know! I love finding and supporting companies in the industry!

See you soon!
