hey pumpkin...
Hello my fabulous friends!
Who's ready for Halloween???
Honestly, Halloween isn't much a thing for me right now.. I don't have any littles, and I live so rural, no one else's littles come trick-or-treating at my house...
But I do have nieces and nephews I can send Halloween goodies to. :)
And Halloween goodies include a hand made card...
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; K&Co Halloween; DCWV Glitzy Glitter
Stamps: LLLC Happy Boo to You, Trick or Sweets
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; VersaFine Onyx Black; Copic Mulitliner
Coloring: Copics
Skin- E30, E31, E33, RV42
Hair- E53, E57, E47, E49
Orange- YR15, YR68, YR27, E37
Green- YG01, YG03, YG17, B26
I absolutely ADORE this little pumpkin girl!!! Isn't she just sweet?!?!
And she colors up pretty quick.. If you are looking for fast but cute, this is a great stamp!
I wanted the "Halloween" to be going along the edge of my glitter layer, but I didn't want to have to mess with gluing it right on the edge.. so I did a partial die cut...
Basically, I put my die where I wanted it, then I lined my cutting plate up so that it only covered part of the die... Where the plate covers, it will cut, where the die hangs out past the plate, it won't cut. It's a fun way to use dies like this!
I wanted to add an angled panel for the sentiment, but I wanted to dress it up a bit too, so I cut out the roof from the Halloween House Add-On from both my patterned paper and my glitter paper, and used that as the edge.
The filigree on these pumpkins is really pretty, and to help it stand out, I backed them with more of my black glitter paper...
I'm curious.. Do you make Halloween cards? If so, for who?
If I'm going to get all my cards made in time to mail, I'd better get busy!
See you soon!
