turning snow to leaves...

Hello my fabulous friends!

Today on the LDRS Creative blog, I shared a tutorial for making your own snow for cards (be sure to check it out... it's cheap and easy!!!).

Here, I wanted to show you that the "snow" can be so much more!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; Recollections Glitter paper
Stamps: LDRS Creative Arctic Snowfall
Ink: LDRS Creative Alloy, Raven; Copic Various ink R29, R59, YR68, Y15; Copic multiliner
Coloring: Copics
Owls- W00, W1, W3, W5, W7, E99, YR27, YR23, Y08
Tree- E55, E57, E59
Other: homemade snow

Look how fabulous the "snow" looks as fall leaves!

And it's SUPER easy! Just one more quick step after making the snow...

Place the "snow in a bag with a few drops of alcohol ink.

Close the bag and shake until the snow is all colored (add more ink if needed)

Dump out onto some scratch paper to dry.

It's that simple!

To really make the leaves pop, try making various colors (each in separate bags), then making custom blends once dry...

Here's three different blends using only 4 colors...

This also works great to create bunches of tiny flowers...

Give it a try!

See you soon!
