bunny hop

Hello everyone!
I was able to not only work in my studio today, but actually get something done!!! *I know, shocker....*
Anyway, the newest challenge over at the Design Dollies blog is to make a project featuring the circus and/or animals. I wasn't having any grand inspiration on the circus end, so I decided to work with an animal.
Paper: plain white cardstock, Bazzill
Ink: Distress ink, VersaMark
Stamps: Penny Black "Garden Friends"
Basic Grey "Swirlie"
Arful Inkables "A Bird's Song"
Martha Stewart "Patterns"
Creative Inspirations Paint: mint, tanzanite, winter frost, rose quartz, garnet, mellow yellow
Cricut: Gypsy Wandering, Accent Essentials
Other Die Cuts: Spellbinder "Label Six"
Embossing Powder: clear, white, black
Other: Enamel Accents, brads, ribbon

This sweet little bunny was stamped with VersaMark, then heat embossed with black embossing powder. I then used Distress ink to water color her in.

I painted a few accents (like the flowers) with CI paint. I love how it gives it so much color and sparkle!!!
Using clear embossing powder, I created a tone on tone look for the swirls, then using a blending tool, I inked the edges in a dark blue.

The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder to help it stand out. *See those cute shiny black dots around the bunny? Those are made with the new Enamel Accents by Ranger.... such fun!!*

These roses have become oh so popular. In all reality, they are very simple to make, yet can add so much! I painted mine with CI Paint, then stamped over it with distress ink. I also inked the edges with distress ink.

Well, have a fabulous evening... I will be back with more later.

PS: make sure to check out what some of the talented ladies over at the Creative Inspirations blog have done with this week's challenge of going 3D! Their stuff will be posted tomorrow (Thursday). Enjoy!
