Jolly Elves with LLLC

Hello my fabulous friends!

I have a very special guest who's going to help me showcase today's card!

My sister came to visit with her family... Including this sweet angel...

She is almost 2 and  LOVES to color...

LOL!

So I gave her some paper and colored pencils (I actually gave her crayons.. but she wanted my Copics... Brother's colored pencils were the compromise). I then let her choose the stamp, and away she went!

For many years, it was a family tradition for the kids to create a gingerbread masterpiece after eating Thanksgiving dinner.. We would start with a simple, cheap gingerbread house kit, and a bunch of extra candy....  We spent hours molding characters out of Starbursts and turning hard candy into stained glass...

These little elves decorating their gingerbread house reminded me of that and brought back wonderful memories!

I cut out a bunch of the Star Wreathes out of gold glitter paper and layered them across the top of the card  to frame in the sky. This die is SO beautiful and versatile!

To create the sky, I airbrushed some B39 across the card, not trying very hard for a smooth layer... I like the hazy darks and lights for this....

I then stamped the Shine Bright in Hero Arts Unicorn White ink... It is a pigment ink, and I was hoping it would give a really nice starry impression... But I wasn't really LOVING it... so, before the ink was dry, I brushed on some Perfect Gold Perfect Pearls...

PERFECTION!

The stars almost disappear into the sky until the light catches them just right, then the SHINE!

So pretty!!

In the finishing touches, I used my Clear Star Gelly Roll pen to add a little sparkle to the highlights in the snow and frosting, and Glossy Accents over the lights, star, and candy.

And here's my niece's....

Thanks Sweetie for coming to visit, and helping me color! :)

I hope you are loving this new release as much as I am!
