These little guys are so sweet, and perfect for anything from birthday to baby, to thinking of you...

You can customize the wrapping paper both with color, and with doodles!

I created a shadow box by die cutting the oval from my front panel, and attaching it to the card using foam tape. I then decorated the inside of the frame and the outside with dies from the Super Scenes die set (this is a great set if you like creating your own scenes!)

When you layer things together using foam tape, you can create a lot of depth!

I like to color my grass die cuts because it gives them so much more texture.. I also layered several rows of grass to create a lot of dimension and texture.

Since coral is the Pantone color for this year, here's a fun tip for you... If you stamp your image with LDRS Creative In Your Face Orange, then stamp over it again with Lipstick Jungle, it makes a gorgeous coral color!  I love that you can get a third color by mixing inks!

See you soon!

  1. I just adore Polkadoodles! I have quite a few of the stamps, I actually have this stamped and colored out and ready to use for a birthday card for my niece and I am glad to see I actually colored it right by looking at your coloring on this, I am not a colorists at all! I believe I will follow some of your suggestions to complete the card! Thanks for sharing your wonderful projects!
