too short to be average...

Hello my fabulous friends!
Today I have a bright and cheerful card to share, featuring a stamp from an artist I recently found and fell in love with... Tracey Hey!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Stamps: Tracey Hey P.S. I Love You
Ink: InkOn3 Blackout, Liquid Pixie Dust; Distress Ink Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry
Coloring: Copic
Zebra- C3, C0, 0, R30, E81, B93
Boots- YR23, Y19, Y15, Y11
Stencil: LDRS Creative Plaid

I started by stamping the zebra, then masking it off with some Eclipse Masking Tape. I then tore a piece of blue painter's tape in half to give it a ragged edge, and created a bar across my card with the tape.

I then taped a stencil over the open bar...

And applied some Distress ink. Because Distress Inks blend so well, you can get all the colors of the rainbow just by blending these three inks!

After removing the tape, I splattered a little bit of Liquid Pixie Dust mixed with water across the card (with the most splatters around the zebra). I then removed the mask, and colored!

Isn't this zebra just adorable?!? And the sentiments that come in the Tracey Hey sets are SO fun!! This one says "Life is too short to be average".

(no, I wasn't asked to write this, and I bought the stamps... I just fell in love with this line, and haven't seen it in other places, so I thought I'd share)

See you soon!
