fuzzy teddy...

Hello my fabulous friends!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all safe and hanging in there!  

This week, my home state wide stay-home orders were extended... and while I was expecting it, it also is a bit disheartening. I miss being able to hug my friends when they are hurting! I miss getting hugs when I'm overwhelmed...

I hope all of this settles down soon so we can go back to giving hugs... but until then, paper hugs sent in envelopes will have to suffice...

This sweet fuzzy teddy has stolen my heart! It's amazing the difference when you add in the fuzzy hair!  

The stamp has the fuzzy hair drawn in, but when you are doing no line coloring, you can choose to leave out details like that, or draw them back in. I waited until I was finished coloring him to decide if I wanted to add in the fuzzies... 

I'm glad I decided to... it makes him so much cuter!!!

I don't normally make square cards... mostly because it changes the shipping price, and I like to send my cards, not just make them... However, when Polkadoodles sent me this amazing die, I fell in love!!! It was the perfect fit for my cute bear! 

Mixing patterned papers isn't something I'm very comfortable with, but it's something I'm trying to do more of. I like the end result.... I just need to trust the process when I'm choosing the papers. LOL!

To finish the card off, I added some rhinestones for a little sparkle.  Guess I need to figure out how to make a custom envelope for this...

I'm off to go look up envelope patterns..
