We have TWO new 6x6 designer paperpads, with awesome patterns all ready for your Holidays and Winter-themed projects called ARCTIC SNOWFALL and HOLLY JOLLY HOLIDAYS!

There are FOUR stamp sets that are simply dreamy:  ARCTIC SNOWFALL, TREE LINEMOUNTAINS, and let's not forget the awesome HOT CHOCOLATE set from Cre8tive Cre8tions!

We also have two new die sets that save you time on cutting, because they coordinate perfectly with the line stamp sets, but can also stand on their own! Crafters, meet the Tree Line Border Die and the Mountains Border Die!

Now for what you've been waiting for....

Paper: LDRS Creative Arctic Snowfall; Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; DCWV Metallics
Stamps: LDRS Creative Arctic Snowfall
Ink: LDRS Creative Raven, Alloy
Coloring: Copics
Branch- E53, E57, E59
Gray- W00, W1, W3, W5
Yellow- Y15, YR24, E99
Dies: LDRS Creative Scalloped Rectangles
Other: Ranger Perfect Pearls; google eyes

Ok.. aren't these owls ADORABLE?!?

(and sticking google eyes on them just adds to the whimsy!)

If you are looking for a good solid to go with the new papers, try a metallic neutral like gold or silver... They really add to the festivity!

This Scalloped Rectangle die set makes layering a breeze!

If you stamp your image in light ink (like the Alloy), you can make some changes to the image... Like I did here by extending the end of the branch out so it looks like it's connected to a tree instead of floating free.

The LDRS Creative Hybrid inks are good for lots of different mediums including alcohol markers and watercolors.. Just make sure you are using the right paper for the medium you want to use!

Here's a fun tip (and this works for any of the LDRS Creative hybrid inks)

To add some easy sparkle to your card, stamp your sentiment in LDRS Creative Hybrid ink (I used Raven), then, while the ink is still wet, dust it with Perfect Pearls (I chose gold).

Brush off any extra powder, and set by VERY lightly misting with water (I actually spray the water into the air and wave the card through the mist)

The black and gold mix is really fun... In some lights the sentiment is black, but if you tilt the card, it changes to gold!

For this next card, I envisioned this girl taking a break from skiing to warm up with soon hot chocolate...

Paper: LDRS Creative Holly Jolly Holidays; Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Stamps: LDRS Creative Hot Chocolate, Mountains
Ink: LDRS Creative Raven, Alloy; Uniball Signo
Coloring: Copics
Skin- E30, E31, E33, RV42, E04
Hair- E55, E57, E59, E49
Teal-FBG2, BG07, BG78, B99
Pink- RV91, RV32, R83, R56, RV99
Marshmallows- E40, E42
Green- YG93, G94, BG96, BG99, YG01
White- W1, W3
Snow- BV20, C0
Brown- E70, E74, E77
Dies: LDRS Creative Happy Days
Other: LDRS Creative Stamping Mask Paper; Ranger Stickles

I used some masking to create the mountains in the distance. I also used a lighter ink to stamp the mountains and a darker ink for the girl.. This helps give the illusion of depth!

A few lines of Stickles help accent the snow... You don't need to over do it with the sparkle.. a few lines will do the trick.

You can even accent your patterned paper with some Stickles!

Keep hopping for more inspiration, and be sure to leave comments for a chance to win!

See you soon!
