I love this snowman! He has this vintage vibe that is just fun to create with!

And the Tree Line stamp... This is PERFECT for creating a horizon line in your scenes, and creating a lot of dimension! Because the trees are small than the snowman, it makes it look like the snowman is close to you, and the trees are in the distance!

You can keep your coloring super simple, or add in lots of detail... I kept my trees simple by just flicking in a couple greens and leaving white space for the snow.. I then added in some flicks of a glitter pen to help reinforce the idea that the trees are covered in snow.

Let's take a look at how to make this card in more detail...

Stamp your snowman in LDRS Creative Raven Hybrid ink.

Create a mask for your snowman and for your trees using Stamping Mask Paper.

Mask your Snowman, and stamp the Tree Line in LDRS Creative Evergreen Hybrid Ink.

Mask the trees.

Create a sky background... You can do this by sponging on in, or using an airbrush like I am.

I like to create a cloudy sky by using a torn paper towel as a mask, and airbrushing right along the edge.

 Remove your masks.

Color!

Die cut your scene and run a black marker just around the edge of the die cut.

Cut a panel from the plaid paper about quarter inch small than your finished card size. Distress the edges, then sew around the edges with a sewing machine.

Cut a panel from the polka dot paper that fits your card front. Adhere that to your card, layer on the distressed plaid panel, then your die cut.

Embelish with some Glossy Accents on the ornaments, and thin lines of Stickles to highlight the snow.
