How adorable is she and her little puppy?!?!?

I started by stamping the image in Memento Espresso Truffle ink, then coloring with Copics.

I then die cut the tree from white cardstock, and colored the branches with Copics.
When you are coloring die-cuts, it helps to place a piece of low tack tape sticky side up on your table (tape the ends down). This gives you a way to hold the die-cuts in place without needing to try to color around your fingers.

I added some variegated color quickly to my leaves with the Copic Airbrush.

For the larger splotches of dark green, I put my marker in the Distress Spritzer... It puffs out blasts of air that leave a more speckled look.  It adds some texture to the otherwise flat cluster of leaves.

I layered the die-cuts over the stamped image to give her swing something to hang from, and to give a little dimension to the card.

I mounted the stamped panel onto another panel that I had colored with Copics and doodled on with a white pen...

Now I want to go spend some time outside in the sunshine! Hope you have a wonderful day!

See you soon!
