a little Christmas kiss...

Hello my fabulous friends!

Today is my final guest design post for Whimsy Stamp.. I've had so much fun creating with these FABULOUS images... if you haven't checked them out, please be sure to do so!

I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about this year's Christmas card, but what better way to get started than with adorable penguins?

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; DCWV Glitzy Glitter; LDRS Creative Gnome for Christmas
Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Penguins Under the Mistletoe
Ink: Uniball Signo White; Gelly Roll Clear Star
Coloring: Copic
Black- C9, C7, C5
White- N2, N0, R00
Orange- YR27, YR24, YR12
Fur- W3, W0
Purple- BV13, BV01, BV31
Blue- B00, FBG2, BG07, B99
Green- G40, G43, G46
Red- R89, R29, R35
Ground- C0, BV0000, BG0000
Dies: Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangles

How sweet is this couple?!?

In some of the larger areas, like the hats, I had fun doodling dots with a white gel pen. It helps break up the large color blocks, and adds a bit of extra interest.

I also added in a little doodling on the ground with a sparkly gel pen so it looks more like snow/ice.
To make the card a bit more festive, I added in a layer of silver glitter paper. I'm trying to keep the Christmas cards fairly simple so I can get more done....

Have you started making Christmas cards? If you love these penguins, be sure to check out all the other adorable penguins over at Whimsy Stamps! (they also have the CUTEST holiday elephant stamps... just saying..)

See you soon!
