cupcake thank you...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I hope you all had a great week!
 I still have a few more days before my life settles back down into a normal routine, but I wanted to share this sweet card with you today...

Paper: Strathmore Bristol Smooth

Stamps: Colorado Craft Company Sweet Friend Cupcake

Ink: Inkon3 Fadeout, Blackout; Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleedproof White

Coloring: Zig Clean Color Real Brush

Frosting- 901, 073, 903

Strawberry- 029, 260, 096, 043, 062, 230

Cake- 075, 066, 903

Wrapper- 028, 230, 901

This large cupcake is such a fun stamp to color!! It's part of the Big and Bold line from Colorado Craft Company, and the whole line is awesome!  

I stamped the image using Inkon3 Fadeout ink, then watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  I was a bit nervous about the vanilla frosting, but I love how it turned out! 

This stamp is big enough to cover most of the card front, so I kept the overall design nice an simple by just adding a sentiment... I stamped the sentiment in a nice black ink so it would have some visual weight to balance the strawberry.
