caring flowers, new from Gina K. designs...

 Hello my fabulous friends!

 Have you heard the news? New Gina K. Designs stamps are out! I was asked to help showcase one of the new sets, and when it arrived at my doorstep, I was in love!

Paper: Arches Cold Pressed

Ink: Inkon3 Fadeout 

Color: Watercolors

I had so much fun painting these flowers! I love that they are big enough you can really play with the paint in the petals and leaves!

I used Fadeout ink, but the Gina K. Designs Barely There ink would be perfect for this as well!

If you want to see how I get the colored tipped petals, I did a video on it a while back... you can check it out HERE. While the video features a different stamp, the concept is the same. If there's enough interest, I can do another video featuring this stamp... Just let me know. 😊

 

Keeping things nice and simple so the focus stays on the flowers, I just added a strip of washi tape down the left side for balance. It wasn't quite the right color pink, but I found that I could paint on top of it without much trouble, so it all matches.
