Ink: Inkon3 Blackout

Color: Watercolors

Dies: Colorado Craft Company A Fox's Life

This little star gazing fellow is so adorable! I absolutely love him! And having the coordinating dies makes it quick and easy to give dimension to your project!

Since I didn't have to worry about painting around anything, I had lots of fun with the background. I started out by paining my whole paper with water, then adding in Daniel Smith Indigo, Moonglow, and a little Roman Szmals Shadow Violet Light near the bottom. While the paint was still damp, I sprinkled table salt over it and let it dry. When it was completely dry, I brushed off the salt and was left with a fabulous texture! I added in the moon and some gold splatters for stars. It may sound complicated, but letting it dry was honestly the most time consuming part!

Because I kept my background lighter towards the bottom of the paper, I was able to stamp the sentiment directly onto the background and it is still easy to read. I love the color separation from the Shadow Violet Light at the very bottom.. So pretty!

And while I was painting foxes, these little cuties were getting into mischief! Aren't they adorable?!?

These guys are from the Colorado Craft Play Time stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the full new release HERE, and use
