Haunting Halloween Hop Day 4

Welcome to the final day of the Haunting Halloween hop with the Honey Bee design team! You should be arriving at the hop from Paper Primper. If you came here by chance, go to Paper Pimper to get started.  When you are ready to go to the next site, click HERE.

--------------

I wanted to do a bigger project to share for the last day of the hop... I also thought that it was a great time to learn something new.  Since I had never made a paper bag mini album, I thought I would give it a go. I had TONS of fun with it!

(I realize I should have taken a photo of all the goodies I was sent to work with, but I thought of that fact AFTER I started cutting up all the pages.... I'll remember next month, promise!)

So, here is my paper bag mini...

The cover is made from fabric that I coated with about 5 coats of Mod Podge... It gives it stability while keeping the flexibility.  Next time, I think I'm going to use a matte finish instead of the glossy...

This is the first page when you open the book. (the witch is velvety... I love it!!!) The My Minds Eye "Haunted" paper collection is FAB!

In between each of the longer pages are a couple large pockets... perfect for housing all those tags I've been making! (along with more photos or memorabilia)

I made each page unique with paper combinations, stamps, and techniques. I also left lots of places for photos and journaling to go.

I showed a close up of this page yesterday when I talked about cutting brads apart... I love how it looks covering those knots!

And this bunch of ribbons and fun charm decorate the spine of the album.  Once I get photos and journaling in the album, I will make a tag with the title and date on it to hang from the ring as well. If you want to learn how to make the charm, you can find the tutorial here... Just don't forget to continue on with the hop too!

Your next stop on our Haunting Halloween Honey Bee hop is Tammy!

Enjoy!
