expo lo challenge...

Hello my wonderful friends! 

I am getting SO excited! Scrapbook Expo USA is coming in just a few weeks!!!!  And guess what???? I am going!  Yup, Utah, here I come! 

When I lived in Utah I went to the show each spring and fall. It is a great place to get ideas, find fun new stuff, and find GREAT deals! Since moving, I have missed the show! Way up here in west-coast-small-town-ville where I am now, good scrapbook stores are hard to come by, and I plan to really shop hard!

One of the fun things they do there is a  LO sketch contest...  This year it is sponsored by Fancy Pants (talk about FABULOUS!!!)  Anyway, as part of the DT,  I can help judge... meaning I can't actually enter. So, instead I thought I would share my personal take on the sketch here with you. =)

I am the type of scrapper who scraps around the pictures instead of the other way around, so doing a LO without any pictures is REALLY challenging for me, but I chose these bright colors specifically for a set of pictures, and I am so excited to get them printed up and put on the LO!

I haven't gotten close ups of the LO since I was taking picts in between the clouds so I could send the overall pict to my team lead. The sun is supposed to be out more this weekend  so I should be able to good closeups to share in the next few days.
