baby elephant...

Hello my fabulous friends!

This week has been a bit crazy for me... but it a good way! Lots of exciting things coming soon!

One of those exciting things is a baby who will be joining our family soon..

No, not MY baby... one of my sisters is having a baby girl, and I'm so excited for her and her family!

I bought this stamp from Stamping Bella for this baby card... When I saw it, I knew it was perfect! We had some running jokes about elephants when we were growing up, so this adorable baby elephant image was PERFECT for my sister and her bayby!

I colored the image using Copics during the thedailymarker30day challenge. I then created a mask and airbrushed in the background.

Once the background was done, I went back in with my markers to create the grass.

I wanted to keep things simple, since that's the way my sister likes her cards.. So I die cut Hello out of several pieces of cardstock and stacked them on top of each other to create dimension. For the top layer, I colored a gradient with my Copics, then cut it out and added it to the stack.

I die cut the stitched border and colored in the heart, and added a wash of perfect pearls to both the heart and the Hello die.

I didn't have a "little one" sentiment that fit, so I had to hand write it... I'll be honest, I don't like my hand writing... but I know my sister will appreciate it for what it is.

And that is what matters!

See you soon!
