giraffe in boots...

Hello my fabulous friends!

When my niece was little, I loved going to the zoo with her to look at all the animals... she LOVED the giraffes! I kinda like the giraffes too... especially when they are as cute as this one...

Other: Stampendous Blushing Pink Pastel embossing powder

How precious is that face?!

I absolutely adore this cute giraffe, and I love how she looks in the no line coloring style!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for this one.

I chose a couple patterned papers to match the giraffe... Having a fair amount of white space around the giraffe lets me use busy patterned papers without it looking too busy, or the giraffe getting lost.

My sentiment fit on the first banner, but it looked more balanced to have two, so I filled the second banner with embossed hearts.

So I read a comment on Facebook recently about how people choose their colors. I tend to color first, then find (or make) paper  and embellishments to match... However, it seems that there are a lot of people who generally chose the paper first, and color to match the chosen paper... Out of curiosity, which way do you do it?

See you soon!
