guest designing for Whimsy Stamp

I am excited to be guest designing for Whimsy Stamps this month!!!
They sent me some DARLING images to work with, and I'll be sharing my projects throughout month!

Isn't she just sweet?!? And perfect for all kinds of fall projects!
She reminds me of when I was little... One year for school, my class planted pumpkin seeds at a nursery... A couple weeks later when we were given the seedlings to take home, mine was the only one of the class' plants that looked dead... My mom, seeing my heart breaking, said we should plant it anyway and see what happens...
By October, the pumpkins on my plant were so big we had to use a wagon to move them!
For the base layer of this card, I did some Copic Airbrush work with a stencil. I first sprayed the teal, then shifted the stencil slightly and added the yellow. Because this is a fairly bold pattern, I wanted to give a little bit of grounding space between that and the image, so I added a metallic copper layer between them.
In finishing touches, I dug this chipboard banner out of my stash and treaded some hemp through the holes... It helps balance everything and tie it all together!
