How absolutely ADORABLE is this new stamp set?!?!
I'm not usually one to love bug stuff, but this set makes it SO easy to quickly make adorable summer cards!

This bow is not from this newest release, but I thought it looked so cute in this check pattern!

I'll be honest, when I first saw this little tiny background stamp, I was a little confused... Background stamps are usually bigger....

But it is actual REALLY easy to line up and stamp over and over in all directions to make a customized patterned paper as large as you need!

This little stamp is my favorite from this set! I think it will get well used!

For my sentiment, I loved the banner stamp, but didn't want to use the sentiment that is part of it... So... I used my partial stamping trick! It works BEAUTIFULLY for this!  Simply cover the words with a little clear tape (be sure not to cover any of the outline)

Now, ink up the stamp (tape and all).

Carefully remove the tape...

And stamp!

You can then add a different sentiment... Or just use a different color for the sentiment!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; Recollections Glitter paper
Stamps: LDRS Creative Ant's Pants
Ink: LDRS Creative Raven; Uniball Signo White
Coloring: Copics- C5, C7, C9, E07
Dies: LDRS Creative Sunburst Rectangle

This card uses a fun inlay technique. I die cut the Sunburst out of white cardstock, and glitter cardstock...  I set aside all the white circles, and glued the remaining piece onto some cardstock. I then took the glitter circles and glued them into the corresponding holes.  (you can actually get 2 cards done at one time with this.. a blue on white, and a white on blue!)

I liked the simplicity of the pattern, so I kept the rest of the card simple too... I stamped, colored, and cut out one of the ants from Ants Pants (isn't he ADORABLE!!!) and popped that up on some foam dots. I also stamped the sentiment, hand cut a banner and mounted that on some more glitter paper...
Super easy, but looks GREAT! You don't have to use glitter paper for this, but I really liked the extra POP it gives it!

  2. Darling card! Thanks for the tip about masking the stamp itself, that would be faster than cutting out a mask to fit inside the frame. Great work!
