Christmas release with LLLC
Hello my fabulous friends!
Over the next 3 days, I'm getting an early start on Christmas with La-La Land Crafts newest release here on my blog! I love being ahead on my Christmas cards... That way I don't need to worry about getting them done during the hustle and bustle of December!
Let's take a look at some of the AMAZING new stamps and dies from this release...

This house die is SO adorable and versatile! Using the Add-On kit, you can turn it into a fabulous Gingerbread house!
I also used one of the Reveal Doors dies to create a brick gate..
When you open the gate, it turns into a brick pathway leading to the house!
I love these swirling Trees! To make them more festive, I topped them with stars from the Star Wreaths.
Isn't Baby Luka simply adorable?!?! And he doesn't have to be wearing a Santa suit.. Change the colors, and you simply have a sweet WINTER Luka ready to play in the snow!
Behind Baby Luka, I created my own specialty paper using the new Shine Bright Background stamp. It's really subtle using a shiny gold acrylic paint and stamping onto a Gelli Plate and making a print from there. It adds that little bit of texture and shine without being distracting.

This little hippo with her reindeer antlers is super cute! And she comes with accessories to help decorate the tree!
This tree is a gorgeous die! I love all the swirls! I used an inlay technique here, cutting it from both a silver and a green glitter paper and placing the silver negative pieces inside the tree positive piece... I love the effect!
I wanted to do another subtle background with the Shine Bright to add some visual weight to the top of the card without getting too bold...
I die cut one of the Nested Frames Large and sponged on some Festive Berries Distress Ink. I then spritzed my stamp with some water mixed with Perfect Gold Perfect Pearls, and stamped it.. The water reacts with the Distress ink and creates a ghost image. The perfect backdrop for the super cute Christmas lights!
