I love this Christmas Lights die... It is so fun and festive! It's the perfect addition to any holiday card!
And check out those fun stars in the background! To create that multicolored stamped image, I first made an alcohol ink background on Yupo paper, then inked the Shine Bright stamp up with some LDRS Creative Snowy White Hybrid ink... I stamped that onto the Yupo background, and it lifted the ink.. I then stamped it onto some Neenah cardstock to create my front panel. Super easy, and creates an incredible effect!
I think this hippo is my favorite... (though, honestly it's hard to choose since they are all SO adorable!)
For those who have been following me for a while, you may recognize this technique... I had to pull it out again for this holiday card...
If you are interested in seeing how to make your own dancing hippo, here is the video I made for the Hula Hippo.... the construction is the same, just change the sizes of your mechanism to fit the image.
You can get these products, and check out the entire new release in the La-La Land Crafts store...
I'll be back tomorrow with one more festive card...
See you then!
See you then!
