a girl and her snail...

Hello my fabulous friends!

The other night I had to run outside to the garage and almost stepped on a snail.... Like an actual snail! When I lived in Utah, snails were a very common garden visitor (UGG!), but since moving here, I usually only see slugs... and usually big slugs.. (double UGG!) 

It was fun to see the snail and be reminded of my childhood days spent in my Grandma's garden!

This image is so fun to color! I love coloring the ruffles on her dress! 

(I started filming a video, but ended up doing most of the coloring at my friend's house while babysitting, so it never got finished... still on my list of things to do.)

I decided to have fun with the snail and add some sparkle to him... I love my Clear Star pen from Gelly Roll for adding little bits of sparkly detail!
