Good Morning! I'm glad to see you all survived Halloween!
Even though I'm not on the blog hop today, I wanted to show my support by sharing what I got in my Honey Bee Corner kit (yes, I remembered to take photos!), and sharing a quick project.
Here's my kit... it's full of papers, ribbons, buttons, Gecko Galz images, and more!
(and yes, I'm very proud of myself for stopping to take photos BEFORE jumping right into creating! LOL)
Aren't these just fabulously fun winter colors??? I love it!
This card was very simple to put together. The snowman was heat embossed, so it became a resist. I then went crazy with spray inks. (I have tons of fun with spray inks!).
The purple ruffle is made out of half circles of crepe paper that were painted with Plum Creative Inspirations paint to add color and sparkle. I then ran a line of dry adhesive around the back edge of the circle and added my crepe paper, making sure to add pleats to make it look like a ruffle.
Nice and simple, but when you have a lot of Christmas cards to make, and you are... ummm... just getting started *cough, cough*, simple is the way to go!
Enjoy!
