CI + GI = fabulous!

Hello all my fabulous friends, as well as all those dropping by for the first time!  Today I am super excited to say that Creative Inspirations Paint and Great Impressions Stamps have teamed up for a fabulous blog hop to celebrate the Grand Opening of Great Impressions' new online store!!!!

If you came here from Theresa's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you're going to want to start at the beginning by clicking HERE.  At each blog, you will find a letter. Gather all the letters to get the secret message, so you can leave it in your comment on the last blog (Great Impressions' blog) to be entered to win a prize!  And what is the prize?  How about 5 jars of Creative Inspirations Paint (winner's choice) and $25 gift certificate for Great Impressions!  Man, that's a prize worth hopping for! =)

Everyone on this hop was given GI stamps and CI paint and told to get creative...

Isn't this Victorian Lady stamp just BEAUTIFUL?  So vintage-y and detailed!

I wanted to leave the image with a "hand tinted" look, so I used several colors of Creative Inspirations paint to tint the roses and leaves both above the frame and in her arms.  Although CI has a huge selection of colors, I still like making my own.  The dusty pink blend is one of my favorites made with Rustic Red, Lavender, and Winter Frost.
You can see that even small painted areas are still filled with shimmer!

I didn't have a ribbon the right color, so I took a sheer white ribbon and painted it with the same blend of Creative Inspirations paint I used on the roses. You may also notice the faint swirls behind the lace.. the Simple Elegance stamp is fabulous as both a stand alone image, or a filler! It's gorgeous!

Ok, I suppose you want my letter now? My letter is O

Your next stop is the talented Kendra

Make sure to collect all the letters so you can be entered to win! You will have until March 11 @ 8pm EST to enter!

Enjoy!
~Kassi
