dancing elves...

Hello my fabulous friends!

When I was young, I took ballet, and around this time of year, a small group of students would be selected to perform a fun Christmas show for local church parties.... One year I was one of the elves. It was a lot of fun, but dancing in those big curly toed elf shoes.....  That was challenging!

Luckily, it's not challenging at all to create your own dancing elves using La-La Land Crafts Jolly Elves stamp set, some paper, and a few brads!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; LDRS Creative Holly Jolly Holidays; DCWV Holiday Glitz
Stamps: LLLC Jolly Elves
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Multiliner; Uniball Signo
Coloring: Copics
Skin-E30, E31, E33 RV42
Red- R35, R46, R59, BG96
White-W00, W1, W3
Black- T6, T8, T10
Green- G24, YG95, YG97, YG99
Yellow- Y15, Y26, YR24, E37
Other: brads

When we were given the theme of "interactive", I thought about all the different things I could do... I finally decided on doing a very simple card with a dancing elf as the main feature...

If you haven't seen my video on making dancing elements, check out the video HERE...

The size of the strips of paper  is different, but the concept is the same!

I went with a glittery star as my pull tab for the elf...

This little guy is so cute, even when he is standing still!

I love this banner in the Stitched Elements die set! It's too narrow to fit most of the sentiments in this stamp set, so I decided to use the left-over hearts from the tag in Photo Elements. They fit perfectly! And that little bit of sparkle adds to the festiveness!

Do you like making interactive cards? If so, what kind is your favorite?

See you soon!
