witch treat box...
Hello my fabulous friends!
Today, for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday, we were asked to make a treat holder...

Other: candy, bag, ribbon
I started by creating a box out of black cardstock. I then die cut a couple Nested Frames Large panels for the front and back.
I wanted to create a simple scene for this cute witch on a broomstick for the front of the box...
I colored the tree and cauldron with Copics.. but it just needed a little something extra, so I added a few leaves left over from another project.
I wanted a cute tag to go with the bow on the actual bag... I liked the size and shape of the tag in Photo Elements, and the sentiment fit perfectly, but the hearts at the bottom just didn't work for this project, so I just tore them off. I stamped the background Hello Lovely stamp in Twisted Citron Distress Ink, then inked the tag using the same ink. It leaves a very subtle pattern!
For a bolder pattern on the back of the box, I stamped the same background in black, then blended on some Seedless Preserves around the edges.
This project came together pretty quickly, and I'm excited about how it turned out!
Now to figure out who to give it to...
See you soon!
