birthday sloths...

Hello my fabulous friends!

Have you seen this ADORABLE new sloth stamp set from La-La Land Crafts??? As soon as I saw it, I pictured a little sloth party in my head... And since I needed a birthday card to send to my BIL, the timing was perfect!
I already had my Ink on 3 Fade Out ink on my desk,  so I decided to try some no-line coloring with Copies using this ink..

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Ink: Ink on 3 Fade Out ink; Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Multiliner; Uniball Signo white
Coloring: Copic
Sloth- E50,E42, E25, E27, E29, E49, R20
Branch- E55, E57, E59
Green- YG03, YG93, YG95, YG97
Black-W5, W7, W10
Blue-YR23, YR27
Yellow- Y13, Y18,
Clouds- W00, W2
Sky- B41

These guys are so much fun to color, and I think they turned out ADORABLY! The Fade out ink really disappeared with the Copics, which left me free to make these little guys nice and furry without having to worry about where the stamped lines are.. I really LOVE the effect!!

For the sky, I masked off the sloths and all their fun accessories, I then die cut some clouds out of making paper and added them on. I used my Copic Air Brush to quickly add uneven color to the sky. Once the cloud masks were removed, I added ta bit of shadowing to give them dimension... Adding the clouds in this way really makes the clouds match with the no line coloring of the sloths!

I'm sure you'll be seeing more of these adorable sloths, and defiantly more of the Fade Out ink! I'm having so much fun with it!!!

See you soon!
