a mouse and a frog...
Hello my fabulous friends!
I've been having so much fun doing no line watercoloring over on Instagram! Sometimes I just color one image, and sometimes I create scenes... These two stamp sets from Hello Bluebird begged to be turned into a story book scene!

Aren't the frog and mouse perfect friends!?!? They may come from different stamp sets, but they work so sweetly together!
Having a forest in my back yard means I see a lot of critters.. the jumping mice are SO adorable (as long as they stay OUTSIDE!!!), and I have a friend that I take down to the river sometimes to catch frogs... so this scene just fit perfectly!
I used a beach die to cut my patterned paper... I love the extra texture (supposed to be sand) that this die gives a border. I also added a few rhinestones to give it some sparkle without taking away from the scene.
