ice cream party...

I would say that summer is the perfect time for an ice cream party, but let's be honest here...

ANY TIME is the perfect time for an ice cream party!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Desert Storm

Stamps: LDRS Creative Ice Cream Party, Party Time

Ink: LDRS Creative Alloy, Raven; Uniball Signo White; Distress Ink Gathered Twigs

Coloring: Copic

Blueberries- B34, B37, B39, B99

Leaves- YG03, YG93, YG95, YG97

Chocolate- E57, E29, E49

Ice Cream- W00, W1, W3

Cone- E51, E55, E57

Shadow- T0, T2, T4

Dies: LDRS Creative Eyelet Lace Rectangle

Stencil: LDRS Creative Waffle Cone

I wanted to do some no-line coloring with this stamp... mostly because I think it looks good enough to eat when the black outline isn't there!

Because I used masking to create my image, I wanted to add a bit of dimension with my sentiment... so I fussy cut the banner out and popped it on using foam tape.

I did some tone-on-tone stenciling for the base of my card..  Normally I would keep my base a solid color when layering a detailed die like this lace, however, tone-on-tone can add a bit of texture without being too distracting. 

What do you think about no-line coloring? Do you like it, or do you prefer a nice solid line? Let me know in the comments!
