honey bear friends...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I've always liked bears... maybe because my mom collected teddy bears, so my childhood was filled with bears of all shapes, sizes, and colors...

This stamp reminds me of her.

I colored this as part of the 30 day coloring challenge (which is over now... but you'll be seeing the things I colored turn into cards over the next while..)

I used Fadeout ink to stamp my image, then colored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

I absolutely love the storybook quality this stamp has when you do no-line coloring!  I've colored this stamp many times, but I think this style is my favorite!

For the larger panel, I used an embossing folder to get the honey comb texture, then I sponged on a bit of Distress Ink to highlight the embossing. For a little extra pop, I added a few sprays of Distress Mica Spray. I love the hint of metallic!

Both the stamped panel and the embossed panel were then cut using the Double Stitched Rectangle die... I really need to get more of these basic stitched dies!! I absolutely love them, but I don't have very many... Guess that needs to be added to my shopping list! LOL!

See you soon!
