vibrant blooms...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I love pretty flowers!

And I love watercolor flowers... especially when they are done without the black outline... It's something I want to become better at, so I've been practicing.. a lot!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; Strathmore Bristol Smooth
Stamps: Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms
Ink: InkOn3 Fadeout; Memento Espresso Truffle; Uniball Signo White
Coloring: Zig Clean Color Real Brush
Flowers- 052, 060, 070, 022, 062
Centers- 061, 066, 062, 095
Leaves- 046, 044
Dies: LDRS Creative Waves and Clouds

I LOVE this beautiful floral stamp! It's so pretty and fun to color! And the spray of leaves are perfect filler!

I used InkOn3 Fadeout ink to stamp them, then watercolored them using Zig Real Brush markers. They started out as a practice exercise... I wanted to figure out how to add a second color into the petals without weird harsh lines or over blending..  I love how they turned out so I turned them into a card!

Because of my mom's illness, and the incredible kindness her neighbors and church family show her, I seem to always be in need of thank you cards!

I love the mixed fonts for the sentiment!

I wanted to keep the focus on the flowers, so I just popped up a simple shaped border along the opposite side to balance the card.

What technique or medium do you want to master?

See you soon!
