I hope you have been hopping along with us. You should have come from Paper Primper Altered Art. If not, go to Paper Primper Altered Art and start at the beginning. After viewing my blog, hop on over to Tammy's blog.

Isn't my niece adorable???   She was wearing her new Christmas outfit, and sitting on the stairs.. the sun was shining just right, and I had to take photos!  (the funny thing is, although she looks posed for the photo, she wasn't. I just take so many photos that when she sees the camera she just kinda adopts this photo shoot look. Makes me grin. )

I adore the owl paper that came in my Honey Bee kit, and I knew I wanted to use it as a base for a scrapbook page. I didn't want to cover up the owls, so I decide to cut the page (at 3 inches), and cut a piece of cardstock  (also at 3 inches). Then by mixing and matching the 3 inch piece of one paper to the 9 inch of the other, You end up with a fabulously coordinated double page spread.

I made the black swirls by stamping an image with StazOn ink onto my non-stick craft sheet. I then traced the image with Glossy Accents. While wet, I covered it with glitter and added in some rhinestones. I then set it aside to dry over night.  The pieces were somewhat fragile where it is thin, but over all, it stayed together well, and was easily removed from the non-stick craft sheet and glued onto my page.

Because of the winter theme, I added white glitter to the edges of my flowers for snow. It gives them some extra zing. (and yes, I am crazy enough to stamp those scallops you see and glue on individual, incredibly small rhinestones on each peak.... LOL)

Since I print my photos at home, I have a lot of room to play with sizes and papers to get the look I want.  Here I have printed my photo on a textured cardstock by Die Cuts with a View to give a faux canvas look.

Thanks for stopping by, now hop on over to Tammy's blog.

Enjoy!
~Kassi
