b-day for fall...

Hello all!

After a very rough last few days, my mom took me out for some "retail therapy". Man I had fun! But, I am back in to share a project with you all! Yay!

So I asked the Creative Inspirations team to be inspired by the Autumn season... their projects are all great and can be found here....

I however, strayed from the traditional crimsons, rusts, yellows, and browns in favor of a deep purple. All the deep rich colors remind me of fall.... and I've got some fall b-days in my family, so this is what I came up with....

Paper: Bazzill, white cardstock

Stamps: Fiskars "Polka Dots", Stampendeous "Ribbon"

Ink: Memento

Cricut: Preserves

CI Paint: *limited edition* Burgundy, Blush

Other: ribbon, rhinestones

I stamped my background with the Burgundy CI paint. I love how it adds that little extra something.... the flowers were cut out of white cardstock, painted with Blush, then crinkled up to add texture. I also dragged my Burgundy paint pad over the edge of the card.
