a fox in the snow...

Hello my fabulous friends!

I need to be sending out holiday cards in the next couple weeks, so I'm finishing up my card quota with some quick and easy cards..

Some simple coloring and the use of nesting dies, makes putting together a fabulous shaker card fast and fun!

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; DCWV Holiday Glitz
Stamps: Sunny Studio Foxy Christmas
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Multiliner, Uniball Signo white
Coloring: Copics
Fox- E09, E97, 0, W00, W3, T5, T8
Teal- BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78
Brown- E41, E43, E44
Dies: Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangles
Other: Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Clear Solid Confetti; glass glitter, micro beads

I wanted to keep my color palette for this card simple and light... Normally my coloring includes bold, intense colors, so this was a bit of a challenge fo me. I wanted to make sure that I had the contrast, but kept it on the light side.

I used a variety of things to fill my shaker... I think it adds more interest to have a variety of shapes and sizes. I decided to stick with clear/silver for my filler so it would be like snow.

I love this Double double Stitched Rectangles die... It has stitching on both sides of the cut line so you can have stitching on the edges of panels and windows! It makes FABULOUS frames!

So, are you finished with your Christmas cards yet?
I'd love to know what your go-to type card is when you are in a time crunch!

See you soon!
