These little hippos are ADORABLE! They are also pretty easy to fussy cut, so adding dimension with foam tape is fun and easy!
Is Rock and Roll not your thing? No worries! The hippo with the guitar and the one who is singing, could easily be playing any number of styles of music... Change the colors a bit, change the papers you use.. they could be singing Country... or Pop.. or... or... or...
Have fun with them!
These stars come from the center of the guitar die. You kinda get two for one with that die!
For my sentiment, I turned it into a border by doing some repeat stamping. It adds a nice touch without pulling focus.

I've been wanting to give two tone hair a try for a while, but I've been scared to... This seemed like the perfect opportunity... and it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be...
I'm still too intimidated to try rainbow hair... LOL!
I wanted the Rock Star and roses to be a metallic gold, but I didn't want it out of metallic paper.. so I used black cardstock then painted over it with metallic gold ink... I love the worn look it gives it!
And finally, I made my own patterned paper for this card using the "It's Snowing" stencil that was just release from La-La Land Crafts...
